Industrial Lighting with Light Corporation
Light Corporation has been enlightening the work space since 1986 by providing cost effective lighting solutions to improve productivity and energy efficiency.

Many factories and warehouses suffer from “cave-like” conditions created by HID, HPS and Mercury Vapor lighting systems.  Light Corp. has the lighting to brighten the work environment and the bottom line.

Light has the Semaphore line of T5 and T8 high bay lighting fluorescent fixtures for any large space application (warehouses, factories, sports facilities and commercial spaces).  The Semaphore line features:

*Ideal solution for high mounting applications
*Excellent alternative to costly HID fixtures
*Reduced energy cost by 50%
*Easy to install - completely assembled and ready to hang

Solaronics Energy Efficient True Dual Heater

Solaronics True Dual 2-Stage Infra-red Heating system lowers operating costs and improves indoor comfort and air quality.

The 2-stage operation has both air and gas flows which are modulated to provide precise air and gas ratios at both the high and low heat stages.  The heater operates in high heat mode when the facility is cool.  Once the desired set point temperature is near, the heater powers down to the energy efficient, low heat setting.

This heater is ideal for manufacturing plants, loading docks, warehouses, fire stations, and auto body shops.

Cambridge Engineering
Cambridge direct-fired Blow-Thru® space heaters and make-up air units save energy and improve indoor air quality.  Uses patented Cambridge burner technology.  Energy savings for commercial/industrial buildings is documented by energy modeling and utility bills from building studies.

FabricAir® Dispersion Systems
What is the product?

FabricAir® Dispersion Systems employ fabric to deliver conditioned air to a wide variety of applications with varying individual requirements.  FabricAir® Ducts can be installed using a number of different suspension systems which allow easy installation and rapid removal for washing and maintenance.

The fabric system offers many advantages over a metal duct system:
*
a fabric system is condensation free
*no damper is necessary
*no painting – the fabric is dyed
*no extra grills or diffusers
*no extra noise reduction
*fits straight from the factory, is assembled with zippers and ready for suspension

The fabric systems are efficient for most jobs in ventilation, heating and cooling.  The system distributes air throughout the length of the duct and not just from grills or diffusers as with metal ducts.  Available in permeable fabric or non-permeable fabric with several flow model options to choose from.
The systems are lightweight and extremely flexible and are specified for use in leisure, retail, media and broadcasting settings, as well as manufacturing, education, commercial and food processing environments.  Available in round and half-round profiles, these systems are easily suspended from ceilings, roof structures and walls to provide a flexible and cost effective air distribution system.

Evaporative coolers offer a less expensive, environmentally friendly and effective way to attain comfort cooling.

Evaporative coolers cool air through the process of simple evaporation of water.  Whenever water is evaporated, heat is absorbed.  With evaporative cooling, what is eliminated is the cost of expensive compressor based cooling systems and ozone destroying CFC refrigerants resulting in reduced operating and maintenance costs.

Benefits of evaporative cooling:
*Fresh Air – Supplies outside air and exhausts stale air, odors, and germs
*Carries Away Heat – A constant flow of cool air removes heat from the work place
*
Provides increased ventilation and air movement
*
Lower energy consumption to produce a significant amount of cooling

Types of Evaporative Coolers
*Direct Evaporative Cooling – lowers the dry bulb temperature while the wet bulb temperature remains constant through the heat of evaporation. (diagram shown below)

DIRECT EVAPORATIVE TYPE AIR HANLDING UNIT

89% Direct Saturation Efficiency

(Direct Evaporative Cooling – lowers the dry bulb temperature while the wet bulb temperature remains constant through the heat of evaporation.)

The number of degrees the DRY BULB TEMPERATURE (DBT) of the air can be lowered is a percentage of the WET BULB DEPRESSION or (DBT – WBT) x EVAPORATIVE EFFECTIVENESS.

RESULTING CONDITIONS

91°F DBT - 73°F WBT = 18°F Wet Bulb Depression

89% Effective

(91°F - 73°F)(89%) = 74.9°F DBT/73°F WBT

*Direct Evaporative Coolers require 100% fresh air with no re-circulated room air.

*Indirect Evaporative Cooling – both the dry bulb and wet bulb temperatures are lowered sensibly by cooling air in a heat exchanger in which the air side is cooled by the wet side without adding moisture to the air stream.  No contact is made between the water and the air to be cooled.

*Two-Stage Indirect/Direct Cooling – is a combination of the two.  The first-stage, Indirect, cools the air stream with Indirect Evaporative Cooling thereby lowering both the dry bulb and wet bulb temperature.  The second-stage, Direct, further reduces the dry bulb temperature while the wet bulb temperature remains the same.
